Featuring a unique colour combination inspired by the distinctive natural landscapes in the region, with a name eponymous with the legendary Haast Eagle, one of the largest and most powerful birds of New Zealand. These prestigious boxes were created to cradle Mat Scott’s feather carvings, Te hokioi (Hast Eagle): Preserved in wetlands for thousands of years, swamp kauri is both fragile and resilient. Carved into a feather, it persists as a symbol of the enduring spirit of the world around us and a reminder of our collective connections to the land  – a land that renews and remains, even as we pass through it.
